The oldest fabric supplier that we currently work with, Cloth Dormeuil has been in existence since 1842. Over its 170 year history, the company has dressed global elites including kings, presidents, actors and entrepreneurs. A true luxury brand, Cloth Dormeuil has created iconic fabrics that refuse to go out of fashion, and will always be a popular option among those with a genuine interest in quality suits.

An independent, family-owned cloth merchant based in Huddersfield, Dugdale Bros & Co offers an expansive selection of cloths to the world’s top tailors, designers and retailers – including Leeds based Crown to Cuff. It also provides us with tailors’ trimmings, such as buttons, threads, linings and canvases.

While Dugdale Bros & Co’s fine cloths have a traditional and quintessentially British quality, the company has adopted modern manufacturing processes to ensure that all its products are highly comfortable, shape-retaining and suitable for the modern gentleman.

Founded in 1881, Bradford based Bateman, Ogden & Co Ltd is a small fabric manufacturer well known for its commitment to supplying high quality cloth at reasonable prices. Up until 1952, the company purely engaged in domestic trade, before branching out into overseas trade. Bateman, Ogden & Co Ltd continues to head from strength to strength, persevering amid a tough global textiles market.

Huddersfield Fine Worsteds

 

World-renowned fabric manufacturer Huddersfield Fine Worsteds provides reputable tailors and design houses all around the globe with carefully sourced fabrics. Among their clients is Crown to Cuff, the Leeds and Sheffield areas’ go-to company for bespoke wedding suits.

Fiercely proud of its British heritage, Holland & Sherry sources quality cloth from textile manufacturers in Yorkshire and Scotland. A well-known fixture on Saville Row, the company is makes fashionable suits and similar garments from materials including tartan, tweed and fine wool.

Smith & Co. (Woolens) Ltd

 

Formed back in 1921, Smith & Co (Woolens) was established in London’s Golden Square, then the heart of the textile industry. It quickly began courting success on a global scale, exporting to Europe, North and South America, the Middle East and Japan.

Smith & Co (Woolens) is one of the last remaining textile companies with two cloth warehouses within 500m of Savile Row, to which it makes daily deliveries, supplying some of the world’s most famous tailors. The company acquired wool merchant William Bill of Bond Street in 1994. Together, they supply fashion houses including Hermes, Gucci, Yves St. Laurent and Ralph Lauren, as well as Crown to Cuff in Leeds.
